About the Roles

Protech are looking for experienced Poly Welders, Civil All Rounder Operators and Trades Assistants to join our client at a world-class Pilbara mine site on a 2/2 roster.

Available roles

• Poly Welders: $64.79–$69.23/hr
• Civil All Rounder Operators: $66.16–$70.70/hr
• Trades Assistants: $52.11–$55.45/hr

Key Responsibilities and Experience Required

Poly Welders

• Weld and install HDPE pipelines and fittings
• Assist with bore installations and water infrastructure projects
• Operate plant and equipment where authorised
• Maintain safe work practices in an active mining environment
• Hold a current Poly Welding qualification/ticket
• Have experience welding HDPE pipelines
• Have experience on mining, civil, dewatering or water infrastructure projects
• Hold a current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
• Hold a White Card
• DG, LF and/or CN High Risk Work Licences are highly regarded

Civil All Rounder Operators

• Construct and maintain access tracks and bore pads
• Operate loaders, skid steers, excavators and rollers
• Conduct earthworks, site preparation and material handling
• Complete pre-start inspections and safety documentation
• Have proven experience operating loaders, excavators, skid steers and rollers
• Have experience in mining or civil construction environments
• Hold relevant machinery tickets and VOCs
• Hold a current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
• Hold a White Card
• Franna Crane experience is highly regarded

Trades Assistants

• Support water infrastructure and construction projects
• Assist with bore installations and mechanical works
• Complete dogging duties where licensed
• Assist with fuel runs, tools and general site activities
• Have previous mining, construction or project experience
• Have a strong commitment to safety
• Hold a current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
• Hold a White Card
• A Dogging (DG) High Risk Work Licence is highly regarded
• Experience with mechanical bolt-ups and bore installations is advantageous
