Dalgaranga is Ramelius’ newest long life, high-grade underground mine, located northwest of Mount Magnet. With the Never Never and Pepper deposits, it strengthens long-term production and feeds the Mount Magnet hub, supporting Ramelius’ long-term growth strategy.

The Role

Joining our newly formed Paste Plant team, you''ll be responsible working safely to operate the newly commissioned underground Paste Plant, whilst ensuring the paste production is quality and able to meet the underground demands. Part of a close-knit team, you''ll also monitor the plant performance, and complete routine inspections and contribute to the reliable operation of the overall paste system. Working 8 days on, 6 days off roster with accommodation and facilities located just a short drive from our mine.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance and production rates to ensure consistent quality and output.
• Conduct inspections, housekeeping, and some general preventative maintenance to keep plant running safely and reliably.
• Identify and report faults, process issues, and hazards, contributing to a proactive safety culture.
• Support the start-up, shutdown and isolation activities, working closely with Underground Operations to meet production targets.
• Accurately complete operational checks, records and shift reports, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

About You

You are a mechanically minded and safe operator with a good understanding of process plant equipment and its operation. You demonstrate attention to detail and are able to identify early indicators of equipment or process issues such as unusual noise, vibration, or performance deviations. You enjoy a positive team environment and contribute to the underground mining achievements.
You will bring:

• Previous experience in mining, mineral processing or fixed plant operations, with experience operating paste plants or similar process equipment highly regarded
• Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to identify and respond to equipment issues
• Strong commitment to safety, with a proven track record of following operational procedures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer-based and operational systems.
• A current Australian driver''s licence.
