Parts Interpreter

About the Role

Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter on behalf of our client, an international industry-leading distributor of aftermarket truck and bus parts. Due to ongoing business growth, they are now seeking an additional team member to join their high-performing Belmont branch.

The Role

Working within a busy and supportive team, you will be responsible for assisting customers with heavy automotive parts enquiries across phone, counter and online sales. This role will focus on spare parts supply, providing accurate advice, identifying suitable parts and ensuring a high level of customer service. Key duties will include:

• Responding to customer parts enquiries via phone, counter and online orders
• Interpreting and identifying suitable truck and bus parts
• Processing sales orders and following up customer requests
• Providing product advice and support to trade and retail customers
• Working closely with the wider branch team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What You'll Need

• Minimum 2 years' previous parts interpreting or parts sales experience
• Strong knowledge of the light or heavy automotive industry
• Truck, bus or heavy vehicle parts experience highly regarded
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full Australian working rights

Working Hours, Pay Rates & Benefits

• Location & Team: Belmont location with free on-site parking; Supportive, friendly team who genuinely get along; Established international business with strong ongoing growth
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday roster with occasional Saturday shifts; Rotating start/finish times consisting of 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm; Minimal Saturday shifts working 8:00am - 12:00pm, supporting a great work/life balance
• Pay & Incentives: Base of $80,000 - $90,000 + superannuation depending on experience; Saturday overtime (paid on top of your base salary at penalty rates); Additional monthly paid incentives of up to $900 per month
