Monadelphous is seeking a Paint & Blast Supervisor to support our Coastal & West Pilbara Operations Core Crew. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Marine Structural Integrity project onRio Tinto's CLA Wharfas a crucial member of the team. This project is dedicated to the remediation of corrosion to the wharf through blast & paining and welding disciplines. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise paint and blast works on the wharf, ensuring tasks are carried out effectively, within budget, and to highest standards of quality and safety. This is a casual position on a2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth to Karratha. We encourage First nations people and female applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of the Paint & Blast crew working on the wharf
  • Working collaboratively between various disciplines to complete remediation works successfully
  • Acting as a first point of contact for crew seeking leadership and support
  • Liaising effectively between the crew and our client

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-5 years of supervision experience in mining and minerals in this discipline
  • Australian Qualified Trade Certificate
  • NACE preferred
  • Previous experience in Marine Projects is desirable
  • Familiar knowledge with Rio Tinto processes and procedures
  • Dedication to the successful delivery of work
  • Proof of Right to Work in Australia
