About The Role:
As an Operator Maintainer at Daunia you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP), ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical systems. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will partner with site personnel to deliver strong safety outcomes and achieve operational performance targets.

This role operates on an even-time rotating roster of 7 days on, 7 days off, covering both day and night shifts.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct production tasks including inspections, troubleshooting of production issues, machinery operation and cleaning activities to maintain our 5S standards.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and carry out preventive maintenance on CHPP equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, trouble shoot and repair to minimize plant downtime.
• Ensure compliance with site safety health management system and site electrical standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and operational performance.
• Monitor the CHPP to optimize production and quality as directed by the CHPP Production Supervisor.
• Assist in HV switching activities and conduct CHPP Isolation for safe access.

What You'll Bring:

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence with experience in large-scale process plant production and maintenance environments.

• Proven experience performing complex plant isolations to ensure safe access for maintenance and repair activities.

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including SCADA, PLCs, and advanced fault-finding.

• Exposure to mobile plant and machinery, including Dozer, Loader, Forklift, EWP, Franna and Skid Steer.

• Eligible to obtain additional certifications, including High Voltage Switching & Access and Hazardous Area Electrical Maintenance.
