Auto Electrician

Our client is seeking experienced Auto Electricians for a rare and exciting opportunity working on mobile plant or heavy road transport at some of the leading gold mine sites in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, and hydraulic issues on underground trucks, mobile plant equipment, and other equipment as required for mining and underground. Including Jumbos, UG loaders, Trucks, Normet dyno and Longhole equipment.
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Disassembling and reassemble heavy equipment components.
• Using diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborating with team members to complete complex repair projects.
• Breakdowns and underground maintenance.
• Skilled with an extensive range of Mining equipment.

About you

• Current & Valid Driver's License (manual required).
• National Police Clearance (validity dependent on site).
• Australian Recognized Trade Certificate.
• Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic working on trucks, mobile plants, or similar equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
