Operator - Cable Bolter

About the Role

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient installation of cable bolts and ground support systems in line with mine plans and safety standards. You’ll play a key role in maintaining ground stability and supporting safe underground operations with state-of-the-art equipment including brand new Sandvik DS422i.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience operating a cable bolter in underground mining (Sandvik DS422i or DS22L experience desirable)
• Ability to interpret cable bolt layouts and plans.
• Strong understanding of ground support standards and safe work practices
• Unencumbered manual C class drivers licence
• St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable)
• Working at Heights Certificate (desirable)
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (desirable)
