Mobile Maintenance Planner

THE ROLE

• Plan and coordinate the maintenance of mining equipment.
• Develop maintenance strategies, as well as schedule, coordinate, and monitor the maintenance of all mobile equipment.
• Maintain all assets safely, efficiently and cost effectively.
• Organise schedules/work orders for the entire maintenance team.
• Organise parts and labour needed in a timely manner for future works, contractor labour and offsite repairs to minimise disruption to the mining operations.
• Analyse the risk of equipment failure, undertake performance measurement and ensure that maintenance costs are kept as low as possible.

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
• Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences
• Minimum 5 years’ mechanical maintenance experience in an underground mining environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance Planner role or similar role
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired)
• Proficient computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude with Excellent communication skills.
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
