Mechanical Fitter (Shift Roster)

Our Client, a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry, are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their facility based in the north-east suburbs of Perth on a temp to permanent basis.

The Role:
This role will see you working autonomously and will require you to hold experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and the heavy manufacturing industry. You will be tasked with repairing and performing breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment.

Must Haves:

• Relevant Trade qualifications (Australian on NZ)
• Relevant experience in this field
• Current Drivers Licence with own transport
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

We have two roles, first role:
Works on a shift pattern of an 84-hour fortnight comprising of x7 shifts per fortnight. (This includes alternate weekends) and comprises of both days and nights. Should you happen to work outside of your usual shift pattern, the whole shift will be paid at penalty rates.

Whilst learning the plant, your first few weeks will all be day shift; Mon - Fri (typically the first few weeks)

The other role...
Works dayshift; 5:00am - 5:00pm (may involve some nightshift work at times) this is on a rotating roster aswell.

ORD casual pay rate inclusive of shift loading is $71.26 per hour + super.
