Mechanical Fitter - Dayshift (AUS, NZ & UK Trades)

Pearl Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters(x3 vacancies) for our client who are a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry. Based in the north-east suburbs of Perth this position will commence on a temp basis with a view for permanency.

This role will see you working day shift hours only although there could be potential down the track to move into a shift-pattern roster should that be desired.

Our client will consider taking on candidates that are on a working holiday visa so long as you have long-term plans to stay here in WA. Trade certs that they will consider without being Australian recognised would be New Zealand and also UK trade Certs – Fixed Plant.

The Role:
As part of the maintenance team, you will be required to:

• Perform repairs and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults efficiently.
• Assist in installation, assembly, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Must Haves:

• Relevant Australian, New Zealand or UK Trade qualification (Fixed Plant)
• Ideally hold WAH and CS (or willing to obtain)
• Current Drivers Licence with own transport
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
