About the Role

SRG Global is seeking Mechanical Fitters for a 5-day local shutdown in Kwinana, with the opportunity for flexible involvement in multiple periodic shutdowns on the strip and peel. This casual role will see you engaged on periodic campaign maintenance, grouped/batched maintenance programs, as well as completing both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance. This role provides daily maintenance and service of Fixed Plant Equipment.

Shutdown Dates

• Main shutdown – Commences on the 18th May till 22nd May

Flexibility

• Casual Flat Rate.
• 12 Hour Days - day and night shift available

The successful applicant will have

• Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter Role.
• Hands-on experience servicing and maintaining heavy plant and industrial equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Experience in fitting, assembling, and aligning mechanical components
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Basic knowledge of lubricants and lubrication techniques

What You Need

• Trade Certificate – Cert III Mechanical/Engineering Trade (with experience in rollers and rotating equipment)
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (Within 2 years).
• Pass a pre-employment medical.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
