Mechanical Engineer

IntroductionThis position sits within the fleet and maintenance team supporting a large mobile plant operation on site. You'll work closely with maintenance planners, workshop teams and site leadership to monitor fleet performance, improve maintenance systems and drive plant reliability.About this role Monitor fleet performance including uptime, maintenance plans and breakdown analysis Develop and improve maintenance systems, reporting and fleet KPIs Work with maintenance planners and managers to improve reliability and plant availability Review oil samples and assist with condition monitoring and investigations Lead safety and quality processes including Take 5s and maintenance investigations Analyse equipment performance and identify reliability improvements Assist with lifecycle planning, plant reporting and maintenance system development Support continuous improvement of fleet systems and maintenance processes

Read moreIs this you? 3+ years experience working with mobile plant or mining equipment Mechanical Engineering background within mining, heavy plant or fleet environments Experience analysing equipment performance, downtime and reliability reporting Exposure to fleet maintenance systems, asset management or reliability engineering Experience working with large mining fleets and maintenance teams Mechanical Engineering degree preferred Must be an Australian / NZ Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
