The Role
Seeking an experienced Mechanical Coordinator for fast-paced shutdown and project works across the South West region.
This role is responsible for supporting the Superintendent and Supervisor in the successful execution of works, ensuring all scopes are completed safely, on schedule, to the required quality standards, in line with client specifications, and within budgeted labour and material allowances.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and safe systems of work
• Weekly planning and coordination of maintenance and project tasks
• Daily planning for work crews and providing in-field leadership
• Assist with identifying the most effective execution methodologies for site works
• Scope site projects to support accurate estimating and planning
• Liaise regularly with clients regarding work fronts, schedules and progress updates
• Support onboarding and training of new employees
• Contribute to performance management and development of team members
• Promote a positive safety culture across all works
• Work closely with the supervision team to deliver shutdown and project outcomes

The successful applicant will ideally have:
• Previous experience in a similar Mechanical Coordinator role
• Strong mechanical trade background
• Experience coordinating shutdown and project works in the resource sector
• Strong computer, planning and systems skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confined Space
• Working at Heights
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
• A positive attitude towards safety, training and the environment

Desirable:
• MSIC
• Cert III in Frontline Management
• Cert III in Health and Safety
