Maintenance Planner / Scheduler

Are you a Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter looking for a role that gets you off the tools without leaving the industry?

Our client, a nationally recognised leader in construction materials, is seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong computer skills to join their maintenance team in a Supporting Scheduler / Planner position.

Based at their Middle Swan site, this is the perfect opportunity for someone wanting to transition from hands-on maintenance into a planning and coordination role. Working closely with the Maintenance Planner, you’ll play a key role in scheduling works, managing maintenance documentation, coordinating activities, and supporting the overall maintenance strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance documentation, procedures, SWMS, permits, and work packs
• Review and improve maintenance procedures with the maintenance team
• Liaise with trades and supervisors to implement maintenance improvements
• Support the Maintenance Planner with records and planning strategies

About You:

• Trade qualification highly regarded
• Strong industrial mechanical background
• Organised with good computer skills (SAP PM/MEX experience advantageous)
• Full Australian working rights
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
