Our Mount Magnet Mining (MMG) operations include multiple open pit, underground, and satellite sites with a projected 17-year mine life. The Checkers processing plant at Mt Magnet is currently undergoing a A$223M expansion and upgrade to an initial 4.3Mtpa capacity, with construction expected to be completed in the September 2027 quarter.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Leading Hand to supervise and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities across our gold mining operations. Reporting to
the Maintenance Supervisor, this hands-on leadership role is responsible for guiding a team of tradespeople working across fixed plant equipment and non-process infrastructure. You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure positive reliability in the mill and processing areas.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and coordinatetrades in planned and breakdown maintenance.
• Manage and maintain NPI assets.
• Ensure compliance with Mines Regulations and site-specific safety requirements
• Understanding and acting in accordance with the Company’s values
• Mentor and support all personnel by providing hands-on guidance
• Contribute to shutdown planning and execution and drive continuous improvement
  initiatives.
• Contribute towards business improvement ideas and processes with a vision of
  improving safety and optimising operating time.

About You
You are a qualified Mechanical Tradesperson (Fitter) with a safety-first mindset, strong teamwork and communication skills to provide leadership and coaching to maintenance teams on site in the Mill. You are flexible and proactive, and you’re ready to
contribute positively to ensure the reliability of critical assets at Mt Magnet.
You will bring:

• Trade qualification(Mechanical Fitter);

• Prior experience in remote mining or heavy industrial maintenance roles;

• Mechanical experience in fixed plant, mechanical systems and infrastructure;

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities, and familiarity with permit-to-work and safe
  practices;

• Pronto experience is highly desirable; and

• Licences & tickets including CN crane ticket, HR/MR licence and current High Risk Work licence (EWP, dogging, rigging, forklift) is desirable.
