Our client is a well-established fencing and infrastructure contractor delivering projects across civil, commercial and utility sectors throughout WA.
Position Details
- Role: Leading Hand Formwork Carpenter
- Location: Collie, WA
- Roster: 10 days on, 4 days off (10-hour days)
- Pay Rate: $55.00-$70.00/hr + Super (depending on experience)
- Start Date: 10/08/2026
- Project Duration: Until 13/09/2026 with the potential for ongoing work
- Meals & Accommodation: Provided whilst on site
- Company vehicles provided for travel to and from site
About the Role
Working as part of a three-person crew alongside a machine operator and labourer/fencer, you'll be responsible for accurately setting out, propping and bracing steel fence posts to tight construction tolerances (within 5 mm).
The role requires strong attention to detail, confidence interpreting plans and taking ownership of the work on site. The project involves structural fence installation.
About You / Requirements
- Leading hand or senior formwork carpentry
- Bracing and propping suspended steel
- Laser level height setting
- Construction set out and interpreting plans
- Working to strict tolerances
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to pass a medical & drug alcohol test
- Construction White Card
- Australian Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance or willing to obtain
