About the Role

Inventory Coordinator – 3-Month Contract (Possible Extension) Location: Newcastle CBD Hours: Mon–Fri (½ hour lunch) | Shifts: 7:30 am–4:00 pm, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 8:30 am–5:00 pm Pay: $40/hour + super Start: ASAP

Role Overview We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support day-to-day inventory operations with a focus on exception management, expediting open orders, and maintaining accurate system visibility. This role is key to improving material availability, reducing backlog, and ensuring inventory data integrity.

Key Details

• Location: Newcastle CBD
• Hours: Mon–Fri (½ hour lunch) | Shifts: 7:30 am–4:00 pm, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 8:30 am–5:00 pm
• Pay: $40/hour + super
• Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Manage MRP exceptions to support material availability and minimise operational risk.
• Review and progress open purchase orders, liaising with suppliers to confirm delivery status.
• Update SAP with revised delivery dates and maintain accurate order visibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and support inbound coordination.
• Assist with data clean-up, backlog reduction, and general inventory support activities.

Requirements

• Proven SAP experience and high-level Excel skills.
• Power BI knowledge is an advantage
• S/4HANA knowledge is an advantage
• strong advanced analytical capability
• Strong coordination and communication skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Experience in mining, heavy machinery, inventory, or supply chain is beneficial.
