Monadelphous is currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our Engineering Construction division on the East Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading, upholding and communicating HSE standards, taking action to ensure ‘The Safe Way is The Only Way’ and implementing strategies to improve HSE performance
  • Providing expertise to the project to ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws, regulations, company and client standards and guidelines
  • Leading and coordinating the delivery of HSE advice and services to the project, building effective partnerships with client HSE teams, and providing hands on support where required
  • Analysing and tracking significant trends, leading and lagging to identify areas of concern/risk at a project level
  • Leading and mentoring other members of the HSE team; providing timely guidance and feedback to help work groups improve their performance results
  • Managing, advising and developing a team of HSE Advisors to ensure effective functionality and support to operations

What you’ll bring:

  • Qualifications in HSE with TapRoot or equivalent training essential
  • A consistent track record leading HSE teams on large scale construction projects in a contractor environment
  • Significant experience in similar HSE roles within the mining construction sector
  • Well established knowledge of HSE legislation and industry standards with an in-depth knowledge of contemporary HSE practices
  • Intermediate user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) to accurately assemble and maintain document and quality records and produce accurate reports
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and track trends (leading and lagging)
  • Well-developed written communication skills
  • Proven ability to identify forecasted risk profile and co-ordinate subsequent planning
  • Demonstrated intent of promoting visible safety leadership
