About the Role

• Attractive hourly rates + Penalty rates on overtime
• Permanent full-time position
• Monday to Friday roster, 6am start

This role, based out of our Brooklyn branch is often the face of Coates and requires exceptionalcustomer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring and maintaining a high standard of safety.

• Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations.
• Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval.
• Operate and manoeuvre equipment on and off a tilt tray e.g. boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, excavators, rollers.
• Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard.

What you’ll bring to the role

• A valid heavy vehicle driver’s license. (EWP over 11m, CN or TV, forklift licences are highly regarded)
• Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct restraint
• A clean driving record and a commitment to the importance of safety – you are an expert on the chain of responsibility.
• Reliable customer service skills
• Adequate technology skills
