HR Driver

Here’s how you’ll be a part of our team

• Attractive hourly rates + Penalty rates on overtime
• Permanent full-time position
• Training provided to become a qualified crane truck operator
• Monday to Friday roster, 7am start

This role, based out of our Edinburgh branch, is often the face of Coates and requires exceptional customer service, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards. You’ll commence as a tilt tray driver with training provided to progress to crane truck operation.

• Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations
• Secure freight loads using approved systems, training, and safety procedures
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location for efficient retrieval
• Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe environment
• Undertake training to become crane truck qualified

What you’ll bring to the role

• HR heavy vehicle driver’s licence
• Forklift licence
• Experience loading/unloading equipment using correct restraint
• A clean driving record and strong commitment to safety — you understand and take ownership of your Chain of Responsibility obligations
• Reliable customer service skills
• Adequate technology skills
• Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) High Risk Work Licence (training will be provided)
• Dogging (DG) High Risk Work Licence (training will be provided*)*
