About the Role

Caval Ridge Mine is located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people.

We’re seeking Expressions of Interest from confident, capable, and safety‑minded High Voltage Electricians who are ready to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in keeping our operation running smoothly by carrying out inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on our heavy mining equipment.

This opportunity offers DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns, working a 7/7 day–night rotating roster, allowing you the space to balance work with the things that matter most in your life.

Key Duties

• Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on heavy surface mining equipment
• Diagnosing faults and conducting repairs and servicing on equipment
• Supporting continuous improvement through procedure updates and root cause analysis
• Contributing to a safe and collaborative team environment

About You

• A strong commitment to safety and looking out for your teammates
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
• QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic licence
• High Voltage switching qualification and demonstrated experience in HV operations
• Sound knowledge of electrical safety legislation, standards and isolation procedures
• Experience in mining, fixed plant or heavy industrial electrical systems
