• Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor
• Location: Laverton, WA
• Job Roster: 8/6 lifestyle-friendly FIFO from Perth to Leonora or DIDO from Kalgoorlie
• Working arrangement: FIFO
• Contract: 7 month Fixed term maternity cover
• Company: Genesis Minerals (ASX-listed)

About the Role

Provide health and safety advice, coaching and support to Laverton Operations and our contracting partners and identify, analyse and interpret probable causes and opportunities for improvement

About You

We're looking for a motivated and approachable Health & Safety professional who enjoys building strong relationships, influencing positive safety outcomes and supporting operational teams to succeed.

You will bring:

• Experience in a similar Health and Safety advisory role within the mining industry
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher qualification
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Certificate III or higher in Mine Emergency Response (desirable)
• Incident investigation qualifications such as ICAM, TapRooT or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and statutory requirements
• Well-developed communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and health and safety management systems such as INX, Pronto and ChemAlert
• Lead Auditor qualification
