Your day to day will include:
- Planning and managing RC grade control programs to delineate ore
- Building and maintaining 3D geological models and designing ore blocks for extraction
- Leading in-pit ore and waste mark-ups, using blast movement monitoring to guide dig directions
- Mapping pit walls, sampling RC chips and keeping reference plans current
- Supervising pit technicians through sampling and dispatch
- Managing and validating drillhole and production data, including QAQC
- Mentoring graduate geologists and technicians
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- A Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geoscience

- Proficiency in Surpac, Leapfrog or Micromine (strength in one or more is fine)
- An understanding of Archean greenstone and complex gold mineralisation systems
- Clear communication, sound planning and a sharp eye for detail
