About the Role
Seeking an experienced Geology Resource Development Superintendent to join a leading gold mining operation in WA’s Goldfields region. Reporting into senior site leadership, you will play a critical role in driving resource growth, resource estimation, and drilling programs that support the long-term success of the operation. This is a unique chance to combine technical expertise and people leadership while contributing to the ongoing expansion of a well-established and highly regarded gold asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee mineral resource estimation and reporting activities.
- Drive resource growth through targeted drilling programs.
- Manage geological modelling, data quality and resource databases.
- Provide technical leadership to the site geology team.
- Support reserve conversion and long-term mine planning.
- Ensure compliance with JORC and company reporting standards.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of geologists.
- Collaborate with mining, planning and exploration teams to deliver business objectives.
Requirements
- 10 years’ experience in WA mining with a minimum of 5 years of gold experience.
- At least 5 years supervisory experience in WA.
- Solid knowledge of WA regulations and JORC guidelines
- Geology degree
- Schedule 26 certification
