About the Role

Ready to lead the geology function of a high-performing underground gold operation and make a direct impact on production outcomes?

We're seeking an experienced Geology Manager to lead our site geology team at our Northern Operation. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll drive excellence in underground mine geology, grade control, ore production, geological reconciliation and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the site geology function, ensuring safe and effective delivery of geological activities.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to the geology team.
• Oversee grade control, ore production tracking and geological reconciliation.
• Partner with Mining and Technical Services to maximise ore recovery and minimise dilution.
• Maintain high standards in geological data collection, interpretation and reporting.
• Provide geological input into mine planning and operational decision-making.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across geology and production processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production and geology performance metrics.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts and contractor performance.
• Champion safety, compliance and the development of a high-performing team.

About You

• Degree qualified in Geology or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in an underground gold operation.
• Technical expertise in resource estimation, mine geology, grade control and reconciliation.
• Proficient with Surpac, Leapfrog and geological data management systems.
• Commercially minded, with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Member of AusIMM and/or AIG.
