General Hand / Warehouse

The Role

Working within the cement industry, you will be involved in a range of hands-on warehouse and yard duties, including:

• Loading flatbed trucks
• Assisting with splitting the bottom of bags/hoppers
• Tipping product into tankers
• General yard and warehouse duties
• Ensuring products are loaded and handled safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

As this is a new operation, you may initially be required to travel to Adelaide for approximately one week to complete training before commencing at the Geraldton site. This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys working in an industrial environment and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and happy to get stuck in.

To be considered, you will have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, construction, manufacturing or industrial environment
• A current Australian driver's licence
• The ability to undertake regular manual handling and physical work
• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
• Good safety awareness
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and DAS
• Full Australian working rights (sorry no holiday visa's)

Experience within the cement, concrete, construction or mining industries will be highly regarded, however, a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

What's on Offer?

• Salary circa $80,000 + super
• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am - 3:00pm approx.
• Full-time, stable position
• Brand-new operation based in Geraldton, WA
• Initial training in Adelaide for approximately one week may be required
• Opportunity to join an established company as they expand into WA
• Hands-on role within the cement and construction materials industry
