About the Role

Protech is seeking skilled haul truck, multi-skilled and excavator operators to join the team at Foxleigh Coal Mine, near Middlemount. The operation offers a 7/7 roster, competitive earning potential and flexible BIBO or DIDO arrangements.

Experienced Positions Available

• Haul Truck Operators: $62.42/hr + $75 daily attendance bonus + $6,000 annual retention bonus.
  • Production experience required on CAT 785/789/793.
• Multi-Skilled Operators: $64.74/hr + $90 daily attendance bonus + $6,000 annual retention bonus.
  • Production experience required on CAT D10T, D11T, 14H, 16H and 24H.
• Excavator Operators: $69.83/hr + $135 daily attendance bonus + $6,000 annual retention bonus.
  • Production experience required on LIB 994, 996, 9800, HIT 3600 and 5500.

Civil Upskill Position Available

• Civil Upskill Operators: $58.43/hr + $75 daily attendance bonus + $6,000 annual retention bonus.
• This is an entry pathway into the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery efficiently and safely as an experienced production operator.
• Comply with site policies and procedures.
• Respond to instructions from the Mining Supervisor.
• Successful candidates must have a minimum of 18 months' demonstrated production coal experience operating machinery.

Competencies Required

• Machinery evidence (signed training transcripts, site authorisations or RII's).
• Health Assessment (Coal Board Medical), or willingness to obtain one.
• Standard 11.
• Current driver's licence.
• Two contactable references to verify experience and skills.
• Right to work in Australia.
