Fitters and Trade Assistants

KCA Site Services provides specialist workforce solutions to Tier 1 mining operations across Western Australia. We have several vacancies available in a mechanical environment with a client that distributes and repairs construction and mining equipment and trucks across Australia in their metro-based workshop, 20min north-east of the Perth CBD.

These Perth-based positions are also available to candidates on a Working Holiday Visa.

Roles Available:

• Fitter/Mechanic (Light or Heavy Vehicle)
• Trades Assistant

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on mining and construction equipment and trucks
• Assist with mechanical strip-downs, rebuilds, fault finding, and component change-outs (engines, hydraulics, driveline)
• Support workshop operations, including parts handling, tooling setup, and general trade assistant tasks
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures and quality standards

Requirements

• Relevant Australian trade qualification (Fitters/Mechanics only)
• Australian driver's licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Forklift ticket (highly desirable)
• Prior mechanical experience in mining or construction (highly desirable)
