FIFO Workshop Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Coordinator for an ongoing FIFO opportunity with our client at BCI Mardie.

This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing workshop planning, maintenance scheduling, parts coordination, and day-to-day communication across site teams. There is strong long-term potential, with the opportunity to move across multiple projects.

What’s on offer:

• $45–$55/hr depending on experience
• 2:1 FIFO roster
• ASAP start
• Ongoing role with long-term opportunities

Key duties include:

• Coordinating daily workshop activities and allocating work to mechanics
• Managing service schedules, machine hours, defects, and maintenance planning
• Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
• Preparing service kits and coordinating stock and consumables
• Updating workshop boards, registers, and maintenance records
• Preparing and distributing weekly work plans
• Coordinating off-site repairs and external service providers
• Acting as the key link between workshop, supervisors, engineers, and suppliers

To be successful, you will have:

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience coordinating workshop or maintenance activities
• Exposure to plant or heavy equipment maintenance scheduling
• Strong administrative skills and confidence using Microsoft 365
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced site environment

Essential requirements:

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• White Card
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical
• Ability to pass a LabDAS
