FIFO Mechanical Technician – Multiple Opportunities

Our client is a large-scale resources organisation operating across Australia and the Americas. They are involved in the production and processing of key commodities and are well regarded for their focus on safety, asset reliability and sustainable operations.

Your new role

We are recruiting a Mechanical Technician to support maintenance activities across either processing facilities or underground operations. This role focuses on maintaining equipment performance through a mix of scheduled servicing and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:
• Working in line with site safety systems, permits and maintenance standards
• Conducting routine maintenance, inspections and mechanical repair activities across site assets
• Supporting fault identification and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime
• Completing maintenance documentation and contributing to work planning
• Communicating equipment condition and work outcomes with site teams

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will bring:
• A strong commitment to personal and team safety
• A recognised mechanical trade qualification or relevant industrial experience
• Exposure to heavy industry, mining operations or processing environments
• General mechanical and hydraulics knowledge (beneficial but not essential)
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
