$32.18 - $34.00 hr + super (pending experience)
Monday to Friday | Early Starts & Early Finish
Ongoing Long-Term Opportunity

Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Factory Hand / Storeperson for our client based in Landsdale who are a national manufacturer of high-quality ground support products for the underground mining industry and is currently expanding its operations. This is a varied, hands-on role offering an approximately 50/50 split between factory production and warehouse duties.

What Will the Role Involve? Working across both the factory and warehouse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating machinery used to manufacture friction bolts and drilling equipment
  • Completing basic welding using semi-automatic welding machinery
  • Using hand and power tools for assembly and production work
  • Operating production support equipment
  • Completing general factory and labouring duties
  • Operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts
  • Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers
  • Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Receiving and checking incoming goods
  • Completing quality control checks
  • Assisting with inventory and stock control
  • Supporting general warehouse and production operations

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Thursday: 5:00am-1:30pm
  • Friday: 5:00am-11:00am

What Do You Need to Be Successful?

  • Current forklift licence and previous forklift operating experience
  • Previous factory, manufacturing, warehousing or labouring experience
  • Confidence using hand and power tools
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Physical fitness and ability to complete manual handling duties
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
