The Team

The Ramelius Exploration team delivers near mine, brownfields and regional exploration programmes across multiple mineralisation styles and lithologies — from early-stage soil sampling through to advanced resource definition. Our programmes span the Mount Magnet operation in the Midwest and the Rebecca-Roe tenements, approximately 150km east of Kalgoorlie.

The Role

Our exploration programmes span some of Western Australia's most geologically diverse and prospective ground — from the Midwest to the goldfields. Depending on where the team needs you most, you'll work across a range of mineralisation styles and project stages, gaining exposure to near-mine, brownfields and regional settings.

Working in a close-knit, high-performing team, you'll be involved across the full exploration lifecycle — from early-stage target generation through to resource definition and project development support. Reporting to the Principal Exploration Geologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Field programmes including geological mapping, geochemical surface sampling and drill hole logging (aircore, RC, diamond)
• Accurate and timely data collection, interpretation and reporting
• Identifying and generating quality drill targets to support resource growth
• Providing direction to Field Technicians and exploration contractors
• Engaging effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Overseeing compliance with tenure, heritage, health and safety obligations
• Participating in daily pre-starts and safety meetings
• Proactively identifying and reporting hazards, demonstrating strong safety leadership

About You

You're a hands-on, curious geologist who thrives in the field and enjoys being part of a collaborative team delivering real exploration outcomes. You bring both technical capability and a proactive mindset to drive results.

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or Geological Science
• Experience in mineral exploration, ideally within gold systems
• Strong attention to detail with solid organisational and time management skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with Micromine, ArcGIS and Acquire (preferred)
• Current WA C Class (manual) driver's licence
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
