The Ramelius Exploration team encompasses near mine, brownfields and regional exploration programmes across multiple mineralisation styles and lithology. Exploration programmes range from early stages soil sampling to advanced resource definition programmes surrounding the Mount Magnet operation in the Midwest and the Rebecca-Roe tenements located approximately 150km east of Kalgoorlie.

The Role

The Rebecca-Roe gold project is a large tenement holding covering highly prospective structural corridors within Greenstone belts. You can expect exposure to higher grade metamorphic terrain, mineralised shear zones, high grade quartz veins, differentiated dolerites, and gneiss formations.

Working in a close-knit and high-performing team, you will be involved across the full exploration lifecycle — from early-stage target generation through to resource definition and project development support.

Reporting into the Principal Exploration Geologist, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality exploration programmes aligned to Ramelius’ growth strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Field work programmes including geological mapping, geochemical surface sampling and drill hole logging (aircore, RC, diamond)
• Accurate and timely data collection, interpretation and reporting
• Assist in the identification and generation of quality drill targets to support resource growth
• Provide direction to Field Technicians and exploration contractors
• Engage effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee compliance with tenure, heritage, health and safety obligations
• Regular participation in daily pre-starts and safety meetings
• Proactively identify and report hazards while demonstrating strong safety leadership

About You

You are a hands-on and curious geologist who thrives in the field and enjoys being part of a collaborative team delivering real exploration outcomes. You bring both technical capability and a proactive mindset to drive results.

You will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or Geological Science
• Experience in mineral exploration, ideally within gold systems
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with Micromine, ArcGIS and Acquire (preferred)
• Current WA C Class (manual) driver’s licence
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
