Northern Star Resources have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Geology Technician.

This opportunity is offered as residential in the Goldfields working a family friendly roster of 8/6, 11-hour days.

The successful candidate will assist in the collection and processing of geological samples to ensure the provision of timely and accurate data for subsequent analysis by Geologists.

Here's what awaits you:

• Meter marking, photographing, cutting, and sample collection of diamond core is completed in a timely manner and is in line with core processing priorities.
• Appropriate QAQC samples are included in all submissions.
• Sample submissions are completed in a timely manner with no errors.
• Transport of samples to the offsite laboratory
• Storage & accurate Cataloguing of diamond core in the core farm is completed thoroughly and in line with procedure.
• Assist in maintaining pulp and core library catalogues across site.

**Qualitifations:**Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence, current approved and recognised forklift ticket (Desired), Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable), 4WD operation and recovery skills (desirable)

**Experience:**Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft office products, excellent numeracy skills, good communication skills, written and verbal, strong attention to detail, ability to plan daily activities and meet deadlines, ability to work unsupervised as required and as part of a team, flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.
