About the Company
Tritton Operations Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.
Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.

About the Role
We’ve got the rocks covered but we’re looking for one more incredible person to join the team based at our Tritton Operation as a Senior Resource Development Geologist.
The Nitty Gritty Aeris Resources is investing significantly in exploration to unlock further value at our Tritton Copper Operations following the discovery of the Constellation Cu-Au-Ag deposit.
We are currently searching for a Senior Resource Development Geologist/Senior Project Geologist to support the Exploration team at Tritton. You will be working on an 8/6 roster with the benefit of being guided by an experienced management team, while growing your career on exciting projects in a booming commodity.
You will work closely with other departments, including mine operations and technical services, as well as external stakeholders, under the direction of the Resource Development Superintendent. You will be responsible for guiding the day-to-day functions of the Resource Development Geological team.
You will play a key role in developing and improving the geological understanding of complex mineral deposits, such that they can be handed over to the mine geology or project technical team for development.
What you Bring
- Hard‑rock geological experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Geology.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, including the safe execution of drilling, sampling and resource development programs.
- Strong structural geology skills, including the ability to record and interpret features of poly-deformed rock packages hosting massive sulphide mineral systems.
- People leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide contractors and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Outstanding communication skills—verbal, written, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing.
- Self‑direction, initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement.
