Westgold Resources is seeking Expressions of Interest from motivated and capable individuals interested in future opportunities as Emergency Services Officers across all Westgold operations.

This EOI is ideal for experienced emergency response professionals who are looking to join a dynamic mining environment and contribute to the safety, health, and emergency preparedness of our sites.

About the Role

Emergency Services Officers play a critical role in maintaining emergency management readiness and providing medical and emergency response support across site operations. Roles operate on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster and may be based across any Westgold operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Emergency response and incident management
• Emergency response training, drills, and preparedness
• Provision of medical treatment and pre‑hospital care
• Maintenance and inspection of emergency and medical equipment
• Fitness for Work testing and reporting
• Collaboration with site teams and external emergency services
• Continuous improvement of emergency and medical systems

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate IV in Health Care (or equivalent)
• Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (including BG4)
• Minimum 2+ years’ operational medical response experience (resources sector preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
