About the Company
Our client is a leading company within the construction industry that specialises in structural remediation, foundation repairs and restoring ground stabilisation. They have recently established a new retaining wall division and is looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to help build and lead the new team. This is an excellent opportunity in a newly created position to be hands-on in making the role your own and building your own team!
About the Role — Location
Welshpool, WA
Key Responsibilities
- Leading retaining wall projects from initial site assessment through to completion, delivering high-quality, safe and commercially successful outcomes.
- Working hands-on with crews during the division's growth phase, while coordinating labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and clients.
- Reviewing plans and site conditions, preparing take-offs and estimates, and supporting competitive quoting, pricing and tender submissions.
- Building and developing a high-performing retaining wall team, while establishing practical systems, processes and construction standards to support long-term growth.
- Identifying new opportunities and helping drive the success of the division, with a genuine pathway to progress into a senior manager role overseeing the team and overall business performance.
About You / Requirements
- Previous experience within a similar supervisory position, with strong retaining walls, limestone blocks and concreting experience
- Experience running a business / overseeing a division within construction highly desirable
- Strong communication and client-management skills
- Current valid driver's licence and White Card
- Full Australian working rights.
