Condition Monitoring Technician

The Role

Reporting to the Business Manager, your position as a Technical Assistant will be in our Condition Monitoring team on a permanent basis located in Smithfield, NSW.

• Work Arrangement: Metro/ Local

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting and undertaking routine condition assessment activities including oil sampling, basic lubrication and stock management
• Assisting and or undertaking data collection including vibration and thermography to determine condition issues on equipment
• Ensuring lubrication, sampling and data collection are undertaken timely and efficient manner which meets with the respective program schedules
• Assist in carrying out installations of monitoring equipment and have a willingness to be trained in additional condition assessment methods

About You / Requirements

• Experience working in a trade
• A desire to be trained to in data collection/vibration analysis/thermography
• Practical/hands-on mechanical/lubrication experience
• Good client liaison skills
• Self-motivation and self-management skills
• Good IT skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain high-level safety culture
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Australian working rights
