Civil Labourer / Rock Pitcher

About the Company

Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Civil Labourer to join our client, a well-established contractor specialising in bulk civil earthworks and site development.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong civil labouring background who is confident working in hands-on environments. The successful candidate will be involved in rock pitching and general earthworks activities, with an immediate start available from Monday 21st / Tuesday 22nd September.

Albany Location
$45.00 - $48.00/hr + Super (Pending Experience)
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Start: Monday 21st / Tuesday 22nd September
Estimated 2 week project

What to Expect:

• Rock pitching and placement of rock for civil earthworks projects.
• General civil labouring and earthworks duties.
• Assisting operators and trades across the worksite.
• Concrete preparation and finishing duties where required.
• Shovelling, digging, levelling and site clean-up.
• Using hand tools and other equipment to assist with daily works.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised worksite.

Requirements:

• Previous civil construction and earthworks experience.
• Experience with rock pitching highly regarded.
• Concreting experience advantageous.
• White Card.
• Reliable transport and ability to get to site.
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol assessment.
• Full working rights in Australia
