Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Civil Labourers to join our Gnangara-based client, a well-established team specialising in underground cabling and electrical service installations.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into ongoing work with an immediate start, supportive training, and the chance to gain additional tickets through the company. Perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on civil work and wants to continue building a long-term career in the industry.
About the Role
Gnangara Depot
- $35.00 hr + Super + Penalties
- Ongoing Temp to Permanent Role
- Monday to Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm
- Occasional Saturday OT also available
- Further Training & Course Pathway Opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting machine operators with the installation of water/gas/power/NBN conduits.
- Using measuring tapes, string lines, hammers and bars to assist in installation of services.
- Shovelling / trenching / digging.
- Assisting drainage crew.
- Compacting with self-propelled plate compactors.
Requirements
- Previous experience within the civil industry, NBN installation or general labouring experience.
- Ability to use range of equipment including shovels, measuring tapes, string lines, hammers and bars.
- Drivers licence and reliable transport to get to depot in morning (manual licence advantageous).
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol assessment.
- Unrestricted working rights.
- Good physical fitness for labouring.
- Adherence to site PPE requirements: Hard hat, Hi-vis, longs, s/caps, gloves.
