About the Role

We're currently seeking experienced Chefs to join our regional Queensland operations. Working in a busy village environment, you'll provide quality meals that help keep our mining communities running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare meals across breakfast, crib and dinner services
• Work in a high-volume catering environment
• Maintain food safety and HACCP standards
• Deliver consistent quality and presentation
• Work as part of a supportive kitchen team
• These are FIFO/ BIBO roles from Brisbane on a 14:7 roster, working 11-hour days
• Casual opportunities are available with the potential for permanent placement for high-performing employees

About You / Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
• Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
• FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essential
• Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
• Able to work well in a team and independently
• Able to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
• Full Australian working rights

Qualifications & Certifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
