MPI works with many of the major underground mining operations across Western Australia. Rather than applying to every site yourself, speak with us. We’ll give you a clear and honest overview of current opportunities - including rates, rosters, and site details - so you can decide if it’s the right move.

About the Role

All roles are offered on a temp-to-perm basis (3–6 months), starting with strong casual rates before transitioning to permanent.

We also can find roles for experienced Charge Up Operators coming from interstate who don’t yet hold a WA Shotfirer’s licence and are happy covering flights to WA.

Current opportunities

• Multiple underground sites across WA
• Rosters: 8/6, 7/7, 2/1, 2/2
• Casual rates: $900 – $1,100 per day (depending on experience)
• Competitive permanent rates with super paid on all hours
• FIFO roles with immediate starts available
• Fast mobilisation and ongoing pipeline of roles.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months charge up experience (development and/or production)
• Current WA Shotfirer’s licence + DGSC
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and police check
• Valid Australian working rights.
