About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Underground Charge Up Operators to join a high-performing underground mining team. This is an excellent opportunity for safety-focused operators with a strong background in production and development charging who are looking for a long-term role with a reputable mining operation.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting underground production activities while maintaining the highest safety standards.

• Charge development and production headings in accordance with blast plans.
• Load and handle ANFO and emulsion explosives safely and efficiently.
• Conduct blast tie-ins and assist with firing activities where required.
• Perform post-blast inspections and re-entry procedures.
• Maintain accurate explosives records and documentation.
• Complete pre-start inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to site safety procedures, regulations and statutory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as an Underground Charge Up Operator.
• Current WA Shotfirer's Licence
• Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Experience charging both development and production headings.
• Strong understanding of underground mining safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Reliable work ethic and commitment to achieving production outcomes.
