Be the First to Apply Redpath is looking for experienced Cablebolt Operators to join our long‑standing operation at South32’s Cannington Mine, one of Australia’s most respected underground operations, located 200km from Cloncurry in North West Queensland.With over 30 years at Cannington and a 120 strong onsite team, Redpath continues to lead the way in underground mining innovation — and now is the perfect time to jump on board.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cablebolting equipment safely and efficiently
• Install ground support in line with geotechnical and site plans
• Complete pre starts, inspections, and basic maintenance
• Collaborate with development, production, and geotechnical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with safety systems
• Actively contribute to a positive, safety driven team culture

Qualifications & Certifications

• You’re an experienced underground professional who values safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
• Previous experience as a Cablebolt Operator (essential)
• Underground hard rock mining experience
• Strong safety mindset and attention to ground support standards
• Comfortable working a rotating days/nights even‑time roster
• Valid driver’s licence and relevant mining competencies
