Pearl are currently looking for an experienced Boilermaker / Fitter to join our client, a well-established WA-owned supplier to the construction and building industry. Based in the north-east suburbs of Perth, this is a long-term opportunity with the view to permanency.

This is a great opportunity for a Boilermaker who enjoys hands-on maintenance work and wants to work as part of a close-knit maintenance team. You will primarily be carrying out boilermaking, fabrication and welding duties, along with mechanical fitting and maintenance work across the fixed plant equipment.

The Role: Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out boilermaking, fabrication and welding repairs across fixed plant equipment.
• Assisting with mechanical fitting and maintenance
• Performing breakdown and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Completing repairs, modifications and upgrades to plant and equipment.
• Assisting with the installation, assembly, and commissioning of machinery.
• Working closely with the maintenance team to minimise downtime and keep equipment running efficiently.

Must Haves:

• Relevant Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter trade qualification – NZ & AUS Trade Certs accepted.
• Previous experience working on fixed plant or industrial equipment.
• Ideally hold WAH and CS tickets or be willing to obtain them.
• Current Drivers Licence and own reliable transport.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.

What's on Offer:

• Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 2:06PM roster.
• $59.10 p/hr + super, with penalties for hours worked over 7.6 per day.
• Stable day-shift hours with no FIFO required.
