The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Boilermakers to join the team located on Barrow Island, WA. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, repair and maintenance of structural steel, piping, plate work and fixed plant components. This is a casual ongoing position from November to January, joining our team on the Butler Park Corrosion Project and delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.
About You
- Trade Certificate III – Fabrication Trade
- WA Driver's Licence
- White Card / Construction Induction
- Working at Heights (completed within the last 2 years)
- Ability to pass a 2G & 3G weld test
- Experience in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding and structural steel works
