Blair Athol – Dozer, Multi Skilled & Excavator Operators

About the Role

Protech is recruiting multiple Permanent Production Mining Operators (Excavator & Dozer) to join the team at TerraCom’s Blair Athol Mine, located just 20 minutes from Clermont in Central Queensland.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE (Experienced):

• Excavator Operators – $148,000 per annum: The fleet includes Liebherr R 9400 and Hitachi EX3600-7 excavators.
• Dozer Operators – $143,221.50 per annum: The fleet includes CAT D10 and D11 dozers.
• Multiskilled Operators – $136,590.90 per annum: Competencies across haul trucks, graders and watercarts are required. The fleet includes CAT 789C haul trucks, CAT 16H and 18 graders, and CAT 773F, 777D and 777F watercarts.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Permanent opportunities with Mine Owner Operator on day one!
• 7/7 even time roster (alternating dayshift & nightshift) – 12 hrs

Key Responsibilities

• Operating machinery efficiently and safely as a highly skilled production operator
• Complying with site’s policies and procedures
• Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor
• The successful candidates will have a minimum of 12-18 months demonstrated coal experience operating machinery.

• Machinery Evidence (Training Transcript/Site Authorisations)
• Health Assessment (Coal Board Medical)
• Standard 11
• Current Drivers Licence
• Two contactable references to verify experience/skills
• Right to work in Australia
