Role Details

• Location: Tropicana, WA
• Roster: 2:1, day shift and night shift
• FIFO from Perth and Kalgoorlie

About the Role

You’ll work within a skilled and experienced team, operating heavy ancillary and production mining equipment to safely meet production targets across our Surface operation at Tropicana.

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient operation of heavy ancillary and production equipment
• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
• Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules
• Maintain a tidy work area and support safe interactions with all teams
• Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
• Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in mining operating the following equipment:
  • Dozers - CAT D11 | D10 | 854K Wheel Dozer
  • Loaders - CAT 993 | 992
  • Graders - CAT 18M | 16M
  • Dump Trucks - CAT 793F
  • Excavators - CAT 6060 | 6040 or Hitachi 5600 (highly desired but not essential)
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
• A team mindset and reliable work ethic
• Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
