Agitator Operator

Job Description

Agitator Operators safely and efficiently operate agitator trucks to batch, transport and deliver concrete in surface or underground operations, ensuring equipment care, quality standards, and site safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all assigned work in accordance with InCycle and Client Management Systems, statutory requirements, and site procedures, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality outcomes
• Safely operate equipment to deliver concrete, fibrecrete, shotcrete, dust suppression and material transport services across underground and surface operations, ensuring high service standards at all times
• Maintain strict compliance with fitness for work standards, InCycle’s Philosophy, Code of Conduct, Cardinal Rules, and site quality assurance guidelines
• Conduct required pre-start checks, Take 5s, JSAs, and actively participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and shift change briefings
• Ensure all machinery is cleaned, serviced, and fit for purpose, promptly reporting any mechanical issues, damage, incidents, near misses, or hazards
• Accurately complete all daily activity, safety, and production reporting, and undertake any other duties as reasonably directed by InCycle that you are competent to perform

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating agitators, haul trucks, or similar underground/mobile plant, with the ability to multi-skill across underground operations as required
• Holds a valid Class C Driver’s Licence and current First Aid & CPR certification (or equivalent), meeting site and client compliance requirements
• Proven ability to batch concrete, fibrecrete and shotcrete to a consistent standard in accordance with specified mix designs
• Strong planning, organising, and prioritisation skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities and schedules
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to follow instructions accurately, work collaboratively in a team, or independently with minimal supervision
• Proactive and safety-focused mindset, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and InCycle’s “Safety - First, Last and Always” principle
