Your new company

Our client are the largest specialised shotcrete and cable bolting contractor in the Australian Mining Industry. Who are currently seeking applications from experienced and highly motivated entry-level Agitator Truck Operators for our Mount Isa Operations.

About the Role

As an Underground Agitator Truck Operator, you will be an integral part of the underground production team, supporting shotcrete operations across the mine. You will safely operate and maintain underground mobile equipment while working closely with experienced crews to ensure materials are delivered efficiently to active work areas.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operating an underground Agitator Truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Transporting and delivering shotcrete material to underground crews
• Supporting shotcrete operations to ensure production targets are achieved
• Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting any mechanical issues
• Cleaning, servicing and maintaining equipment to a high standard
• Communicating with team members and supervisors via two-way radio
• Following site safety procedures and contributing to a strong safety culture
• Working collaboratively with underground crews in a dynamic mining environment

This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy practical work, operating machinery and being part of a close-knit team. No underground mining experience is required, with full training provided for the right candidates.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous underground mining or operating experience is advantageous but not essential. To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A current Manual Driver's Licence or P2 Licence
• The ability to pass a pre-employment mining medical
• A willingness to obtain a National Police Check
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• A commitment to maintaining high safety standards
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Be currently residing or planning to relocate to Mount Isa – No FIFO is offered for this role.
